Lahav & Yaffe's expert engineers know the field of electronic packaging inside and out and will share their skills in order to plan the most successful, efficient and smart project for you. The department's members use the most advanced computer systems and 3D software for planning and simulation. Receipt of drawings or assemblies is done through direct and personal communication with the customer. Data processing is done in the factory itself in order to ensure high-quality and efficient production at the highest level and in the shortest possible time.
The production planning and control department, as its name implies, plans and supervises from the moment the order is received until the product is delivered to the customer. Every project that passes through the gates of Lahav & Yaffe Ltd. comes first to the PPC department, which accompanies it all the way. From planning purchase orders using an internal ERP system with a dedicated model, producing reports that assist in supervision and maintaining transparency with the customer, to the delivery of the product at the required time and quality. The department's employees are dedicated to their work, have experience and understanding in planning processes and synergy with operations.
The company's prestigious laser department includes laser cutter machines with cutting capabilities of up to 10 mm iron, 6 mm aluminum and high quality stainless steel. The cutting process is computer-directed and uses a high- power laser beam. Among the advantages of laser cutting: speed, accuracy, minimal material losses, less possibility of material curvature due to overheating, cleanliness of the work environment and a smooth cutting rim, which reduces the need for additional processing.
The department provides solutions for cutting and creating various protrusions of fine sheets with an accuracy of up to one-tenth of a millimeter. Lahav & Yaffe's advanced tin punching machines provide precise, fast and efficient work.
The company's CNC bending machines provide exceptionally precise work while maintaining tolerances. The computerized technology enables the bending of sheets and metals accurately and quickly down to the millimeter, even in materials that are difficult to process and almost without human contact. The efficiency of the machines allows production in high volumes in a short time, with minimal waste of material. The economic translation is a decrease in the cost of production for the manufacturer and the consumer. All bending processes at Lahav Yaffa Ltd. undergo strict supervision in order to ensure compliance with the design and standards.
Lahav & Yaffe Ltd. employs an experienced team of welders who use state-of- the-art argon and CO2 welding equipment. Argon welding is suitable for gentle welding of metals such as stainless steel and aluminum while CO2 welding is used for iron parts. Point welding is used for all types of material. The work in the department is carried out in designated welding stations that include cornering accessories for maximum accuracy and a high level of finish, all according to the customer's requirements.
After welding the metal, the product is transferred to the grinding department where it receives a high-quality special finish. The polishing and grinding process in the field of electronic packaging, removes defects from the metal surface for a smooth plane. The process aims to minimize the presence of new deviations on the surface. Minimal deviations can be quickly removed by sanding.
The professional and skilled staff of Lahav & Yaffe Ltd. uses state-of-the-art equipment for inserting rigids. For quality results even in the most complex parts. In our factory's rigid department there are a number of rigid insertion machines programmed for each item according to the characterization in the model or drawing. The engineering team sets up the data and the machines automatically adjust themselves, including pin direction and deep insertion pressure.
Lahav & Yaffe Ltd.'s assembly department employs the best professionals specializing in mechanical assemblies. The company also provides painting and coating services including silkscreen printing and finishing according to customer requirements.
